Benny Beans first started working with coffee in the summer of 2012, in Boston MA, at Sip Cafe. While with Sip, Beans learned how to make a variety of coffee/espresso based drinks, in a high-volumn/ fast-paced environment.
During his time at Sip Cafe, he was also able to take part in coffee tastings and speciality barista traninings provided by George Howell Coffee. These unquie experiences helped Beans develope a much deeper understanding and appreciate for the industry.
Not only does Benny lead the coffee program at Fire by Forge, he also roasts our signature beans through is own Been's Beans Roastery. He also leads all of our coffee/barista training for our core staff as well as our culinary and customer service trainees.
Benny is passionate about third-wave coffee, hospitality, creating third space, and all things coffee.
